У статті на підставі документального матеріалу з актових книг волинських ґродських і земських судів та літописних джерел досліджується проблема втрат мирного населення Волині від епідемічних захворювань у роки Визвольної війни українського народу середини ХVII ст. під проводом Б. Хмельницького
